The pieces were packed well. likely from the delivery driver setting it on that corner to put it down. It was very easy to put together and took less than one hour to assemble. However, she did scratch her leg on the underneath side of the table. There isn't much room for her legs when getting in/out and the underneath side is not finished/painted.
