Thicker than another 'flannel, Sherpa' hoodie I purchased recently. I just wore it in sub 25 degree with wind. It was a little cold but marginally better than the other one I purchased. Nice colors I've gotten compliments about it!

It's warm as a parka but thin enough to be comfortable It was 20's this week in our area and he wore this coat and a hoodie for a good hour of snow removal!! Bought an XL for almost 6' 180lbs man. however they can be unsnapped to get your hands through, and ended up keeping out the cold air so was a feature not a drawback!!
