Worked great on our Ford Flex. I was nervous at first taking it on the interstate as it appears to barely grab the rails. After about 100 miles it felt very sturdy. took it over 1000 miles at speeds between 75 and 80 mph. Worked fantastic.

Helped secure a tie down bag for a VW Atlas that only had side bars. no stripping of the screws. though it does make some wind noise while driving which I suppose is to be expected.

Used it for my full size SUV for carrying the skis. There is a noise but you can use some tapes to wrap the gap which can stop the whistling
